ABOUT JULIE:

Julie lives and works in Wesburn in the beautiful Yarra Valley, Victoria. Her home studio is surrounded by a mixture of parkland garden and natural bushland with an outlook to the Donna Buang Ranges. This is where she draws most of her inspiration.

Mostly self-taught, Julie is inspired to paint a wide variety subjects. She is particularly drawn to painting horses, still life, floral and native flora and fauna. Julie's favourite medium is pastel, but she also enjoys working with the timeless texture of oils. Julie's work often glows with old world charm as her eye for detail and subtle light transitions breathe life into her work.

Julie has earned signatory status with the Australian Guild of Realists Artists and is a member of Sherbrooke Arts and an exclusive group known as Valley 10.
