Myriad sequences of opacity lead Poet & Painter Belinda Rogers into the undefinable stillness of her abstract expressionist works.
Using cloth, she wipes clear the compulsion to follow the curve of an outer world, resisting the repetition and familiarity of landscape. She instead turns inwards, locating primary expression, to return with the artefact of colour.
This special series of oil on linen reaches from the crossroad of silent communion.
The viewer listens, the resonance and beauty of inner worlds revealed.
