Our Gallery & Arts Hub is supported by a fantastic community of people who volunteer their time to keep our organisation operating. Members fulfil a wide range of roles at YAVA, and we love their energy, curiosity, warmth and enthusiasm.

Volunteering at YAVA is a great way to contribute to your community, gain experienced skills, meet new people and learn new things.

VOLUNTEER Gallery Guides - WE WANT YOU!

  • Would you like to learn new skills?

We would love you to join our friendly team. Our Art Gallery & Hub is looking for regular people to staff our front desk. Bring a friend, grab a coffee and enjoy our lovely space in the heart of Healesville.

Tasks may involve: (with full training)

  • Greeting visitors, sharing information about the gallery and local area

  • Handling sales of cards, prints, books and art works by cash and credit cards

  • Collecting data: Visitor numbers, daily sales tally

  • Monitoring COVID safe practices when needed, (such as check-in, mask wearing)

  • Uploading content on to social media & webpages (optional)
