Earlier this year Charlotte ran a series of children’s workshops at YAVA. Below is a small activity for kids to build their own super hero.

Charlotte Lance has written and illustrated several children's books including A Really Super Hero, I Have a Dog (An Inconvenient Dog) and This Girl, That Girl. The detailed worlds she creates have stories within stories, and her illustrations are hilariously lively. As the mother of three wild boys she often draws on her everyday life for inspiration and hilarity. She also has the uncanny knack of creating scenes that truly come to life.
