INterior
Small Sculpture Exhibition - in association with the Yarra Valley Arts | Yering Station Sculpture Exhibition & Awards 2023
This year we bring you the 2nd INterior - Small Sculpture Exhibition to coincide with the annual Yarra Valley Arts | Yering Station Sculpture Exhibition & Awards at Yering Station.
While the Yering exhibition invites viewing of sculptures in a large scale setting, this exhibition offers a more intimate space and an up-close experience for visitors. The smaller scale of both the work and the setting allows viewers to walk around, inspect the craftsmanship, and gain insight into the materials used and the artists process. Working with a wide range of materials, artists have created accessible work, whose inherent beauty suits a domestic setting. Offering a refreshing contrast to the larger scale work, these pieces can be taken home to be enjoyed in a home garden or living space.

ABOUT YERING STATION
Victoria’s first vineyard was planted at Yering Station in 1838, with their cellar door (and former wine making) building built in 1859. Current owners, the Rathbone family have taken the helm of Yering Station’s extraordinary property and wine making since 1996. With five sites across the Yarra Valley, they produce world class, award winning wine.
In Yering Station’s Cellar Door with its rustic charm, is both a tasting room and an art gallery, where you have the opportunity to view rotating art exhibitions and gain insightful views of the historic cellar below. Outside in the gardens there are sculptures to view, particularly on the terrace overlooking the magnificent views of the Yarra Ranges.
