Shaun Tan is an award winning Australian artist and children’s book author. He exhibited original works at YAVA in 2019. Cicada is a beautifully illustrated picture book which tells the simple story of a cicada who is undervalued and poorly treated by his human employers until, at last, he manages to escape and become who he really should be.
