ABOUT TANIA:

I am an artist and maker of sculptures and functional handmade things. I work in wood, clay, stone and copper and am deeply committed to bringing beauty and life to each of these precious resources. My aim, in all aspects of my work, is to find meaningful expression, to establish an open dialogue between the material and myself, between the narrative and the gesture and to express this with depth and integrity.

I have worked as a sculptor, maker and ceramic artist, as well as a workshop facilitator and tutor for most of my adult life, drawing on a comprehensive background of training in the areas of Sculpture, functional Ceramics, Phenomenological nature observation, Anthroposophy, Waldorf/Steiner Education, Biographical work, Counselling and Art therapy.

I also frequently offer workshops in varying modalities.
