ABOUT TIM:

Tim has been making and designing jewellery for well over 20 years at Silvermist Studio, in the heart of Healesville.

Tim’s greatest pleasure comes from designing and making one-off, unique handmade pieces for clients. Working mostly in precious metals and fine gemstones, goldsmith Tim combines traditional skills with contemporary design to create unique jewellery at the rear of the studio.

His interest in design and jewellery took him through TAFE and then a Bachelor of Arts degree at Monash University. In 2013 Tim was elected to the National Council of the Gold and Silversmiths Guild of Australia where he plays a role in overseeing the standards and hallmarking of precious metals in Australia.

Creating jewellery is not just a job, but a passion.

Tim has participated in many Yarra Valley Open Studios weekends.
