ABOUT DI:

Di is an award winning artist who thrives on variety and creative challenges involved in painting different subjects.

Di has been a member of the “Cattlemen’s Association of Victoria” for over 30 years and past member of the “Victorian Working Draught Horse Association”. This has given Di first hand material for her paintings of cattle drives, horsemen, river crossings and the High Country, along with her paintings of the clydesdale and ploughing scenes.

Having lived in Healesville for 26 years, she is also inspired by the beautiful surrounds of the Yarra Valley, with its wonderful old gum trees and rivers, misty blue hills and dusty old tracks.

Versatility has enabled Di to paint any subject fluently. From landscapes, seascapes, the bush, portraits and beautiful figurative works, Di is always aware of capturing the right light to set the right mood.

It’s the light, passion and romance of each subject that inspires Di.
