ABOUT JOANNE:

Wildlife artist and illustrator

Joanne Everard (formerly Pearcy), a wildlife artist and working mum, creates artworks from her home studio in Lilydale, often with a focus on Australia's threatened and endangered species.

With a passion for the conservation of wildlife and environment, she hopes her art will help grow the viewer's awareness of nature's diversity and intrinsic value. Capturing the subject's personality and unique features in the artwork helps to create a connection to the creatures we share our land and homes with.

Her predominant medium has been colour pencil, but she is also developing a new style with acrylic paints and dabbles in pen and watercolour illustrations.

Joanne has also recently created small outdoor murals and street art in Mooroolbark and Ringwood East.
