ABOUT SIOUX:
I am an artist who has been living and creating in the Yarra Valley for the past 20 years.
I have a passion for creating and teaching within communities and I regularly run acrylic painting workshops.
The joy, the connection, inspiration, skill sharing, healing, support, sense of place, being, belonging.
It is through my art, my heart is expressed and manifested in an outward visual form to be shared with the people and the world around me.
Allowing me to contribute joy, passion, love, magic, beauty and inspiration.
Sioux’s art practice includes acrylic painting, and she has been commissioned to create mosaics and painted murals for public spaces and cement mosaic sculptures for playgrounds.
Sioux is participating in Yarra Valley Open Studios 2024
Her studio, on the outskirts of Warburton, will be open on 26 & 27 October
