ABOUT SHARON:
“My inspiration may be a moveable feast but the pursuit of creativity is constant”.
Sharon studied fine arts in Canada and Australia and has made her career through immersion in the creative industries. She started her journey as a painter, moving to Australia with big dreams and a suitcase full of paint tubes. Treasured times in an artists commune in Sydney’s Redfern in the late 1980s and early 1990s set the stage for her practice.
Since then Sharon has carved out a professional career path in public service to the arts and cultural exchange between Canada and Australia.
In recent years, Sharon has transitioned her arts practice to multidisciplinary genres including digital designs and quirky textiles.
