ABOUT WILANI:
“I am interested in cycles of insight and perception, how one observation affects the next.”
A contemporary abstract artist and creative director of her graphic and web development studio Wildeye, Wilani’s creative career spans over more than 20 years and her work is held in local and international collections.
Her paintings are created through intuitive responses to the way objects and colours relate to one another. Her work connect to ideas of perceptions around us, before and beyond us – layers of meaning which we are searching to understand.
For Wilani it is not about the specifics you see in the artwork, but about the narrative you feel in the witnessing, the energy the work transmutes moment to moment, and exploring what lies beyond our sight.
